Project 2
Pre-Productions
.For this project, we were required to recreate a Thai ad that we watched. Since this ad has 2 perspectives, a guys and girls perspective, we were split into 2 groups, each with different scenes to shoot. One group in charge of the girls perspective, one in charge of the boys perspective. My group was in charge of the girls side of the story. After grouping together, we discussed together on what role each member will play in this production. The roles were as below.

After that, we came up with our group name. Funny story, we were having a hard time coming up with it. Then randomly, our producer saw a ladder that was just there in the classroom where we were in. So we decided to call our group "Ladder in the Room".

After that, Aaron created the logo for our production.

After our positions were assigned, we then walked around campus to see which location is suitable for each scene following the storyboard. Below is the storyboard.



After walking around campus, we then discussed and listed down which locations were gonna be used for the scenes.

Locations

Scene 1: Outside Grand Hall or D3.19 or Block E Corridor or Design Studio

Scene 3: Lakeside

Scene 5: Design Studio

Scene 7: Road to DK or Block A Bus Stop or Uni Square

Scene 7 Shot 2: Block E Level 2

Scene 9: Block E Level 2

We also discussed about the props and costume that will be used and worn in the video.

Makeup - Light with neutral colour eyeshadow, soft colour lipstick

Filming | Week 5

This week, we started to film. We gathered at around 7 am and production began after everyone arrived at the scene. We all did our assigned jobs at each location.

Post-Production

After shooting, we compiled all the footage that we recorded along with the other group's footage, which is the guys perspective. I then started to edit it in Premier Pro along with colour corrections according to the original video.

Week 6
Exercise
After the video shootings, Mr Martin then taught us how to colour correct. We were asked to use the original video as part of the reference.

I did 2. One with the original having some colour correction and the 2nd one following the tone of the original Thai Ad.
